Newly renovated hotel in perfect location. Service is outstanding and always friendly. We enjoyed going to the local beach club (free entrance for hotel guests). Breakfast was good. Coffee could be better ;) Parking was well organized. You can unload your bags close to the hotel and park in locked parking boxes (add. cost) in 2 min walking distance. The rooms with terrace in the 1st floor with lake view are wonderful and worth the extra price. Many restaurants in walking distance.
Absolutely amazing hotel. Loved our 5 days there. Very clean and comfortable staff very friendly and welcoming. Great having the ferry stop right outside the hotel. Dined in the hotel restaurant twice fabulous service and great food. Fabulous restaurants around too that we visited. Will definitely be back love Lake Garda.
Martina, Giacomo and Sylvia were great, helping us with all our questions. All the waiters were also wonderful, especially Lars!!

What a nice stay we had at Hotel Du Lac. The hospitality is beyond measures. And the breakfast buffet is amazing with various choices. I enjoyed early morning and late evening walk along the lake. The location is superb.
I only have positive things to say about this hotel.

This is an excellent choice of hotel. Well placed to explore other areas by boat. Had a most enjoyable and relaxing holiday. Staff are so attentive and courteous and all knowledgeable of where to go. We stayed for 12 nights and had clean sheets every few days! All the little details were hugely appreciated. Thank you! Also invested in Lake Garda transfers - Giuseppe was a fountain of knowledge . Transfers were swift and vehicle was luxurious and comfortable. Again - all the extra information offered was hugely appreciated.
Beautiful hotel, the rooms were so clean and the reception staff very helpful, also the breakfast staff and the maids very polite. We loved it there and we’ll definitely come back .
Dinner review: We had a very disappointing dinner experience at this hotel’s restaurant. We asked the staff to seat us outside where there was clearly capacity, but they insisted on only giving us a table inside. The food was ok in quality but the service was not good at all. Waiters were very indifferent and didn’t seem to care about what kind of experience we had. Very inattentive and seemed bored - not at all engaged. We had to wait a very long time to pay and ended up going up to the counter where other customers were also waiting to pay and there was confusion about how to pay. The price of the meal was too expensive for the level of service and the food quality ( which was ok but not great.) While the location is beautiful and the food is not bad, I would say the service really lets this place down. It’s a shame since it’s such a beautiful spot.
Very good hotel, staff exceptionally helpful and all look happy in their work. Restaurant was very good, location is one of the best in immediate area. Far superior to going to Garda, less tourists and a pleasant quieter location. Definitely worth more than 3 stars which it’s rated at. Rooms maybe a little smaller.
